All sales are final and cannot be cancelled at the point of purchase. Due to the special nature of our merchandise, we cannot accommodate exchanges or refunds under any circumstances. Likewise, our vendors are unable to cancel or make changes or modifications to any order once it has been placed. Please be sure of the style, size, color, and/ or any other specifications before submitting your order. The submission of an order acknowledges your agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
When to Order
We recommend placing your order as far in advance of your wedding a possible. By doing so, you allow ample time for production and shipping. It also affords you a comfortable time frame to for any necessary alterations.
Please take in account time needed for any travel.
Vendors reserve the right to change their delivery time frames at any time and without advance notice.
Ordering Online
House of Brides provides a secure online order form, which allows for payment online. Submitted information submitted is handled with the strictest security.
Upon submitting your order, an email is sent to acknowledge the purchase. Payments are processed within 24 hours.
Ordering by Fax
House of Brides provides an Print Order Form. Upon faxing your order, an email is sent to acknowledge receipt and the processing of your payment.

Payment Procedure
Payment is due in full at the point of purchase. We do not offer any deferred payment or lay-away programs.
House of Brides accepts all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept personal checks, money orders, and cashiers checks for mail-in orders only. Please be sure to mail the order and payment together. All mailed personal checks, money orders, and cashiers checks should be made payable to: House of Brides.
House of Brides also accepts PayPal payments.
Currency is calculated in U.S. dollars (USD) only.
All sales are final. House of Brides cannot refund any portion of your payment or accommodate any exchanges.
Sales Tax
Sales tax applies to all online orders placed in Illinois. Illinois sales tax is currently 8.25%.
Email Confirmations
Customers will receive a series of email confirmations throughout the ordering process. The first email confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order and payment into our system.
The next email confirmation is sent 7 – 10 business days afterwards and will include confirmation of the vendor, style, quantity, size, color, and estimated delivery of the order to our location.
The last email confirmation is sent by our Shipping Department to confirm the receipt of the order at our location and its scheduled shipping. The confirmation includes the tracking information.
Estimated Delivery
The estimated delivery given in the order confirmation indicates the time frame the vendor will ship the order to our location. The time frame is an estimate only provided by the vendor. Due to specific cutting dates of their styles, vendors do not guarantee their delivery dates. Delivery dates are tentative and subject to change. Most often, orders arrive on or before their approximate delivery date. On occasion, there may be a slight delay in production, which affects the order’s delivery to House of Brides. Please be assured we take every measure to ensure orders are delivered in the timeliest manner.
Email Addresses
It is important to provide an email address on your order. To ensure the utmost accuracy, confirmations and correspondences are emailed to customers.
No-Cancellation Policy
All sales are final and cannot be cancelled at the point of purchase. We cannot accommodate exchanges or refunds.
However, House of Brides will issue a refund if the product ordered is not available in the given time frame and if stock is not available. Refunds take approximately 30 business days for processing.
House of Brides will make every effort to process your order with our vendors. If there is a problem with your order, Customer Service will notify you for resolution a minimum of three times by email. If the email is non-transmittable, Customer Service will call the phone number provided on the order. If Customer Service still does not receive a reply from the customer, the order will be submitted to management for refund.
Delivery
Standard delivery from our vendors to our location is approximately 10 – 16 weeks. Most designers offer Rush service with approximate delivery of 6 – 8 weeks. Quick Delivery collections have approximate delivery of 2 – 6 weeks. Immediate Delivery collections are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and may not be available after an order is processed. The approximate delivery for Immediate Delivery collections is less than 3 weeks.
These times frames are tentative and subject to change. Time frames vary between vendors. Please see Estimated Delivery as displayed with each product to view a vendor’s production time frames.
Our vendors address a 5-day workweek. There is no production done on the weekends. They observe all Christian and Jewish holidays as well as a specific vacation schedule. Please take this scheduling into consideration and allow plenty of lead-time for production and shipment of your order.
Relative to the point of origin of the vendor and the new enhanced security measures mandated by the United States Government, goods being shipped into the country can take longer to be processed by customs and can compromise the confirmed tentative ship date.
Completion of Order Form
It is imperative that the order form is completed in full. To omit anything from the order will result in a delay and could compromise a timely arrival. Please check your order before submitting
Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for certain order specifications including, but not limited to, plus sizes, extra length, and Hollow to Hem measurements. Availability and charges for these specifications will vary between vendors and will display with each product.
Selecting a Size
Vendors provide their own size chart, which reflects the specific measurements they use to determine their sizes. The vendor’s size chart is displayed with each product and viewable on Size Chart. It is important to follow the vendor’s size chart for the product to choose the size to order.
Please note measurements are taken to determine the closest size to be ordered and the garment will not be custom-made to exact measurements. Almost all apparel will need some type of alteration.
Measurements and sizes are based on U.S. calculations.
Prior to selecting a size to order, we suggest reviewing the information provided in How to Measure on the product’s page. The vendor is unable to accommodate any changes to the size once the order has been placed.
The customer is responsible for the size ordered and whether or not to order extra or custom length. House of Brides cannot assume any responsibility for the size selected by the customer. In addition, our Customer Service representatives are unable to assist with measurements or suggest a size.
Available Colors
Colors displayed on our website may vary from the actual fabric color. We recommend contacting an authorized retailer to view a fabric swatch.
Please indicate the color you wish to order exactly as it is posted onsite. Many dresses are available in two-tone combinations and with trims. The customer is responsible for the color ordered.
Dye Lot Variation
Vendors cannot standardize dye lots so colors may vary from online and physical swatches. Colors can also vary between bolts of fabric. Most variations are slight and a shade off. However, we strongly suggest placing a bridesmaid order at one time with all of the dresses on the same order to avoid dye lot variation. Any bridesmaid orders placed separately or added-on to an order may be cut from a different bolt of fabric and vary in color.
Additionally, dresses from the same vendor but different styles or dresses from different vendors will vary in dye lot.
Fabric orders are always cut from a different bolt of material than dress orders. Please be aware that dye lot variation between the fabric and dress order may occur and that we cannot guarantee a color match.
Swatches
Vendors provide retailers with swatch cards for in-store use only. We cannot order or send swatches to customers.
Rush
Most vendors offer Rush service for orders placed in a time frame that falls short of their standard delivery schedule. Delivery for Rush orders is approximately 6 - 8 weeks from the vendor to our location dependent on the vendor's schedule. Rush effects the production of the order but does not upgrade the shipping from the vendor to House of Brides or the shipping from House of Brides to the customer. Availability and fees vary between vendors.
Shipping
House of Brides ships domestic orders through the United States Postal Service (USPS). International orders are shipped through DHL. Orders are insured for their value at the point of purchase.
Orders are charged a shipping fee based on current shipping rates excluding FREE SHIPPING promotions.
Please be sure to provide a complete shipping address and include an available business name, apartment number, or suite number. We suggest using a business address as the shipping address if a person is not available at your residence to sign for and accept the package. While we request a signature of receipt, the carrier can use their discretion to leave a package at an address if they feel it is secure.
Changes to the shipping address must be made prior to the receipt of your order at our location.

Custom & Duty Fees
Custom and duty fees may be imposed by the recipient’s country. House of Brides is not responsible to notify or charge customers for any additional custom and/ or duty fees. The recipient is responsible for applicable custom and/ or duty fees upon receipt of the order from House of Brides.

Arrival Of Order
Upon receipt of your order at our location, our Shipping Department will verify the order is correct and arrange for its shipment. Notification is emailed the day the order is scheduled to ship from our location to your shipping address. The notification includes the tracking information for the order.
Please allow for 7 - 10 business days for domestic delivery and 7 - 14 business days for international delivery. These delivery time frames are estimates only and actual delivery may vary.

House of Brides asks that you inspect and try-on your merchandise immediately upon receipt. If you have any questions regarding your merchandise, you must contact our Customer Service Department within 5 days of receipt. We may not be able to assist you if we are contacted later than 5 days of receipt.
Please be aware we will automatically charge a customer’s account $100.00 if their order is refused upon delivery to their shipping address.
Fabric Content
Most fabrics are a Polyester-blend. Therefore, fabric content labels will most times show the content as 100% Polyester. The addition of Polyester provides advantages such as durability and wrinkle reduction.
Promotions
House of Brides periodically features promotions exclusive to online purchases. Promotions adhere to Terms & Conditions and to the disclaimer on the offer. Promotions are available on a limited time basis and cannot be applied to previous or existing orders or used in conjunction with any other offer. Online promotions are not applicable for in-store purchases. We reserve the right to discontinue Special Offers at any time without notice.
The Free Bridal Headpiece & Bridal Shoes offer is available with a wedding dress purchase from select designers only. We reserve the right to periodically add or remove designers from this promotion. Vendors can discontinue a style at any time and without advance notice. Vendors reserve the right to modify or discontinue styles, colors, options, and prices at any time. We update our website upon the vendor's notification.

House of Brides reserves the right to add, modify, or omit any information on our site at anytime without notification. All online orders are subject to approval.
Please remember all orders are final and cannot be cancelled. Under no circumstances can House of Brides accommodate any exchanges or refunds. The customer is responsible for the size, color, and any other specifications of their order.
