Towanna Williams

October 2003

When Towanna Williams, a Customer Representative for Delta, got the message from Chicago Weddingpages that she was the winner of a wedding gown at House Of Brides, she could hardly contain herself. “Congratulations Towanna, you have just won a wedding dress,” said Jillian Swan of Chicago Weddingpages. Towanna pulled the phone away from her ear and screamed with excitement. Once she caught her breath, she got back on the telephone and set up a time to meet Jillian at House of Brides in Schaumburg to pick out her dress.
Jillian arrived at the appointment 10 minutes early to find that an excited Towanna was already there.
Krys Richards, manager of House Of Brides, explained that Towanna was so excited that she and two of her closest friends had arrived early and were already in the fitting room. Krys did a fantastic job picking out dresses for Towanna; she looked beautiful in every dress that she wore. By the tenth dress, Towanna was having a difficult time deciding which one was just right. Her friends encouraged her to give the first dress she had tried on another chance. She agreed and when she came out and stepped in front of the mirrors, everyone knew the search was over. Her eyes lit up. “This is the one!” she said.Towanna and Krys
It only took Towanna 10 dresses to know that the very first one she tried on was the one. She was so overcome with emotion that she cried and thanked Chicago Weddingpages and House of Brides again for the dress. “ This really is a blessing,” she said through tears.
After the excitement had subsided Towanna shared the story of her engagement. She was on her way home when her boyfriend Damon` Lane called and asked her to hurry because he was waiting in front of her house. When she arrived, she hopped into his car just as her favorite song came over the radio: and it was dedicated to her from Damon`. He handed her a dozen roses, then asked her to go get a coat from the house. As Towanna walked up the driveway she looked down to find Hershey Kisses lining the path all the way up to the front door and into the house. She turned around where Damon’ waited on one knee. “Now that I have kissed the ground that you walk on,” he said, “ will you marry me?” The answer was yes, and the two will tie the knot on September 25, 2004 with their closest frinds and family in attendance.
Congratulations and best wishes on a lifetime of happiness!
