Team House of Brides has over 30 members participating in the Race for the Cure® event in Lombard Sunday, September 26^th! Melissa was one of the first to sign-up and will be joined by her fiancé Kevin. 

Melissa has worked for House of Brides for just 3-months but has shown fantastic enthusiasm for our partnership with Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. Melissa and Kevin plan to run the 5k on Race Day but Melissa admits she’ll, “…probably be walking toward the end”. 

With just over 2 weeks left before Race Day, Melissa and Kevin have started training by stepping-up their exercise routine including running and eating healthier. 

Melissa says she chose to participate, “…because it is for a great cause and for the family and friends we know who have struggled with breast cancer”.

The Race for the Cure® event will be the first charity run/ walk Melissa and Kevin will participate in. We thank Melissa and Kevin for their support and wish them the best of luck!
