Team House of Brides is growing every day, now with over 30 members! We’re running and walking in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® event in Lombard Sunday, September 26^th!

Team House of Brides’ captain is Megan, a House of Brides employee of over 18 years. Megan is walking the 5K portion of the Race for the Cure® alongside her husband, Nick. Both have contributed time for other charitable events but this is their first race event.  

“We take regular walks but started going a little further each time once Team House of Brides joined the event, “ Megan said about their preparation for Race Day. “We’re hoping for a beautiful Fall day on September 26^th but know the miles will pass quickly with all of the great people we’ll be walking with!”.

Megan was especially excited to participate in Race Day saying, “I have close family and friends that have been affected by breast cancer. Each diagnosed at age 40 or younger. As a woman and a mother to my own daughter, I believe we have each do our parts to support the fight to breast cancer forever”.
